The Concept

Inspired by the coastal regions of Provence and Saint-Tropez, co-founders
Luke Stoioff and David Rekhson have tapped French-trained heavy hitters and
Mediterranean all-stars to execute the compelling menu at La Serre. Helming the
kitchen are Chef Nikitas Pyrgis, hailing from La Guérite in Cannes; plus, Chef Partner
Athinagoras Kostakos, formerly of Alain Ducasse in Monaco and Partner in both

The Menu

La Serre’s culinary approach spotlights the light and vibrant cuisine of Provence with a focus on native techniques and ingredients and lighter plays on the dishes of the French-Mediterranean landscape. Fresh vegetable, seafood and all-natural Black Angus beef preparations will be finished at the kitchen’s custom-made hardwood charcoal hearth, providing dishes with incredible wood and charcoal flavors that elevate each ingredient without the need for heavy sauces or seasoning.

This lush and abundant growing region of France will inform the flavors of bright and balanced cocktails, making for a seamless pairing with the menu. An expertly curated wine list will also accompany the menu, with fifty percent of the list focusing on French wines and the other fifty New World varietals.

The Space

Inspired by the coastal regions of Provence and Saint-Tropez, La Serre invites guests to enter off Green Street into a lush and colorful greenhouse—the name La Serre translates to “The Greenhouse,” after all—where they’ll find Bohemian decor, thick wood beams, Venetian plaster, troughs of flowers, floral booths, and antique mosaic tiles reminiscent of the French Riviera.
